San Francisco

It was a tiring night. From the airport, we took the BART train to San Francisco downtown. The hotel was not easy to find but finally with all the heavy baggage i managed to locate it. Then it was sleep to get ready for the next day.

San Francisco has a very good visitor center with wifi to do research on what to do. I did not really need it because I had already done most of my research on San Francisco. After this we took the cable car up the hills of San Francisco to the Fishermen’s Wharf. We ate ate the famous Ghiradelli Ice Cream shop at Ghiradelli Square. Afterwhich, we walked down the wharf and tried out the sourdough bread and clam chowder at the Boudin Bakery. We then went to the Coit Tower and it so happened that the sun was setting so we watched the sun set over San Francisco as the fog bank swept in from the sea. It was quite cool. After that, we walked down Chinatown but most of the shops were closed or closing. We then had Japanese dinner to go and went back to the hotel to call it a day.
